The campaign strategy for the 2009 European Parliamentary elections is currently being implemented.

In the North West of England we intend to run a full campaign to ensure that at least 2 Liberal Democrat MEPs are elected, as in 2004.

The Liberal Democrats rely more than the other major parties on donations from individual supporters and well-wishers. The European Parliamentary Elections in 2009 will require a significant financial comittment. We welcome donations from our supporters, no matter how small.

Any individual donating more than £200 must be on the UK electoral register. If you are not sure about whether or not you are able to donate, please call (020) 7222 7999. All donations of more than £200 are recorded and depending on your total contributions may be published by the Electoral Commission.
